As much as I try to buy from my local bookstores...
I still look forward to when my Amazon package arrives.
Sense and Sensibility: An Annotated Edition - The latest in the annotated Jane Austen series. I seriously need to make room in my bookcase!
Middlemarch by George Eliot - I've always wanted a better edition since the only copy I have is that flimsy, Oxford Classics version. I once had a professor tell my class that Middlemarch is one of those books that changes meaning with each decade, and since it's been at least 10 years since my last reading, I think it's time for a re-read.
The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater - Excited for this installment, but I think I want to re-read the first book, The Raven Boys. Having re-read The Scorpio Races recently, I think I enjoy her books more on the second reading--something about knowing what already happens, instead of dying of suspense, makes me savor it.
Raven Flight by Juliet Marillier - Looking forward to the next stage in Flynn and Neryn's journey, though they'll be apart...
Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh - Not from Amazon, but from a newly-opened bookstore in Astoria. Thanks, Jen, for coming with me!
