Bring on the weekend
Happy things! I haven't done that in a while.
- When Borders gives out 40% off coupons
- When I can feel proud for saving money while buying books...even though I buy a lot and coupons kind of render them moot
- So You Think You Can Dance: Wade Robson's Jazz routine with Jeannette and Brandon (when they danced as robbers) is flyyy.
- When a certain someone leaves the office early for the weekend.
- Finally being able to see the colors of the sunset in the city, without any rain
- The themes on the Star Trek soundtrack are quite catchy, I must say. But I also saw the movie again last weekend, and I still think it's the best summer movie 2009's going to get. What, you think GI Joe is going to get that honor?
- Going over late invoices and seeing the note on the bottom: "SERIOUSLY PAST DUE, PLEASE REMIT!!!" (because nothing emphasizes urgency in accounting than 'SRLY'...)
- The New Moon calendar is worth a ROFLMAO--in a public store, no less! Is "you must be shirtless" a casting requirement for the young men?
- Speaking of New Moon and the lulz, anyone catch that recent preview from Comic Con? "You have a papercut!?! Let me take rip off my shirt and use that as a bandaid! But really I want you to see ripped abs that are soooo much better than that of sparkly wank Edward's!"
- True Blood, season 1. When Bill bites that poor human, HOLY CRAP! Any scene with Tara and Lafayette! Even manwhore Jason is growing on me!
- The promise of donuts at work tomorrow morning. yay for awesome coworkers.
