All that is sundry
It makes me grumpy when I'm on a book slump. I'm reading stuff, but I haven't been really engaged in it lately.
Which leads me to my question for the day: how do you find your books? Where's an interesting place you've gotten a book rec?
I like to sneak glances at whatever books people are reading on the subway. Of course one in five people are reading Twilight, which is no fun. Then I saw a woman reading from her Sony e-reader, and I couldn't tell what she was reading either (clearly). But sometimes, I find original suggestions, or catch titles of books I've been meaning to read, but just haven't gotten around to it.
Anyhow I should be relishing my free reading time now because guess what: my internship invited me back! lol. For a week. Two out of three members of the Publicity Department will be going on vacation, and the director will need help. But I know, I know, I'm working on sending as many job apps as possible before the black hole that is working in Publicity will squeeze all my time and energy.
