Postcards from the edge...

I am currently sitting on a lounger in the warm Californian sunshine in a very pretty garden feeling a lot better than I have done in a while. The profusion of wireless internet access in this part of the world is 'a good thing' - am very glad I decided to bring my iBook on this holiday (though it is a shame that the battery only lasts three hours - not enough on a ten hour flight)... A glass of wine would make this a perfect moment - but that will have to wait for a bit.

So yes - I was gone for a bit and while this journal is not deleted any more it isn't going to be used in the same way. Apologies if anyone was worried but I was getting stressed and irritable and LJ was making it worse.

When I get back from holiday I'm going to do the bits of administrative gubbins that need to be done (de-friending mainly - I'm only going to be using LJ for commenting and reading a restricted set of mainly-friends-only journals) but I'd rather like to post some photos and pontificate somewhat on my impressions of San Francisco while I'm still here. I've decided I'm going to use Blogger (all hail Google - overlords of the internet) but I've got a bit stuck on what to call it - any suggestions (and keep it clean please) as foxbasealpha and fba are both gone...
