Another reflection In US

It has come to my 8th day here in the United States.. its has been much adjusting to do here immersing my life into the different world here of the People in the States. The free state city and all. Havin been to tourist laden place like Los Angeles to the cosmopolitan city of Santa Monica and lastly now in Oklahoma City where everything is laid back, its suprising how people under one banner of united States yet have very contrasting kind of lifestyle.

It has been an eye opening experience but more and more into the time here. i realise i  need more time alone to myself. Don get me wrong my roomies are great and there is no one better other than them whom i want to room up with but i need my personal space and sometimes ya certain things do get on my nerve and today was my first..

One thing is there is a fine line between teasing and getting on my nerve u keep repeating it to my face again and again and i kept quiet and try not to be bothered but there is a limit to my patience and when you cross it don blame me for snapping at you with lines that are really offending because when i come to a point that i don care MEANS i don care if it hurts you.

Well anyway school started, lessons are pretty much cramped together so there are a lot of work to do and such and i really just want some time to myself do my own exploration and do my own walking about.. because quite honestly everything done in groups of this and that kinda make me claustrophobic. I just need time out..

Anyway since my arrival to oklahoma City the weather has been a crazy weather.. the temperature fluctuate like crazy from 20plus degree to 10 plus in the night..  OKlahoma is really a laid back environment. The people are more like the cowboys or at least where i am residing it is the outback area.. People are friendly with greeting exchanged and smiles thrown. You feel welcome. You don see high rise here where i resides lands are just so vast it stretches far and wide and you get to see like deserts and grasslands as well as great nature  setting that if you are in Singapore you can only see them on posters and pictures. Places that look near on map are not as nearly as near when you actually travelling on it. Transportation is EXPENSIVE. made a couple of mistakes here and there trying not to think about it. Money can be earned back..

I miss mom and dad and the rest of my family. Miss the familiarity of walking downstairs with the cars honking and the bustling sounds of people's television. Miss my cat at the front door greeting when i get back home. MIss the smelly of my room and the coziness of my bed. I Miss my dearest friends whom i hope are doing great and well. There is a tinge of sadness when you think about it but well left 4 more weeks before i get back home.. so yeah..

There is much exploration here that i want to do and well until that happens but meanwhile i really need to plug back into my IPOD to get away from the bustling sounds of the world for a while and just get in tune back with myself. Anyway tomorrow i going on a trip to the Wichita Mountains for another field trip.

Bus ride is 730 am so off to bed now its 1130 need to sleep.. tomrrow got to cook...
