Both Kame and Nino were absolutely panic looking for the suitable hide-out as the doorbell continuously ringing. “ Kame-chan open the door. We know you’re inside” Koki shouted.
“Shish, damn Koki. Don’t they know I have neighbors who might already asleep” Kame grumbled. Then he opened up his walk-in wardrobe and shoved Nino in “Hide in here. Look for somewhere safe”
Nino looked around in awe “This is huge”
“Senpai, this is not the time to be amazed” Kame said exasperatedly. “Hide now and I’ll try to chase them away” he closed the wardrobe and hurriedly walked out to the main entrance.
Kame took a deep breath and opened the door to a smiling Koki and Ueda. “Kombanwa!” the two greeted with a silly grinned plastered all over their face.
But the same could not be said by the host who look downright irritated “What are you guys doing here?” Kame question coldly.
The two noticed the hostile attitude from Kame but ignored it “We invite ourselves to your place. Lets just say pre-housewarming” Ueda explained with a smug.
“Kame let us in will you. It cold” Koki whined.
Even though he really want to chase his guest away, Kame stepped aside to let them in as he worried Koki will make another scene and wake up the whole neighborhood. The two entered excitedly carrying a pack of beers, pizza and a luggage each.
“What’s with the luggage?” Kame asked worriedly.
“We are going to stay overnight here” Koki answered confidently.
Kame was gaping at the announcement “What?”
Then Ueda stepped in and explained “Don’t you remember that we will be going to Osaka tomorrow?”
Kame nodded “I knew that but what that’s got to do with you guys staying overnight here?”
“Oh that… since all of us going with the tour bus, I’ve already told our manager to pick us up at your place instead. I’ve already given him your address” Ueda answered calmly.
“We really wanted to see you place. You were so excited to invite us over when you decided to buy” Koki added in with a slight pout.
Kame stared at his guests. He knew he’s stuck in such a sticky situation now. Kame gave up and nodded. Now he just need to make sure they don’t find Nino. “Come I’ll give a tour”
Kame took them to the kitchen, dining hall, balcony and living hall. Then Koki noticed something Kame haven’t got time to hide “Eh, Kame, since when you play video game?”
“Oh that! I just started last week. I borrowed it from my brother, Yuya.” Kame lied.
Both Ueda and Koki looked at Kame suspiciously knowing the younger guy never interested in such games before.
Then Kame took them to his room. “Wow, this is huge” Ueda exclaimed and plopped himself on Kame’s bed.
Koki observed all over the place and he opened the very place Kame dread. “That’s the wardrobe” Kame offered hoping Koki changes his mind.
It backfired successfully as Koki opened it up eagerly and stepped in, and then followed by Ueda. “Wow, this is amazing” Koki was impressed.
Ueda nodded and add in “This is art” they walked in further.
Kame couldn’t see where Nino was hiding and assumed that is a good sign. He tried to take them out “Come I take you guys to the guest room”
“Eh, I thought we’ll be sleeping here with you?” Koki asked looking hopeful at Kame.
“Gomene Koki, I sleep naked” Kame lied nervously. He could not let Nino sleep in his wardrobe.
“That’s even better” Koki smiles hauntingly.
“No! I’ll bring the futon out.
Then Ueda added in “I’ll be sleeping in the guest room. Koki will be sleeping in the living hall”
“Eh, why?” Both Koki and Kame asked curiously.
“Koki lost a bet” Ueda winked at Koki. “Sorry Kame I can’t tell you what’s the bet is about”
Koki pouted but agreed. Kame mentally canceled the idea of letting Nino sneak out at night since Koki will be on guard.
“Kame, can I see you digi pet? I never have one but since you are so into it, I’m considering to have one myself” Koki quipped cheerfully as they stepped out from the wardrobe.
“Eh digi pet” Kame asked curiously.
Ueda looked at Kame suspiciously “The one you said that amused easily and can even play games” he added helpfully.
“Ahhh… my digi pet” Kame paused a moment trying to figure out an excuse. “Yuya took it for a walk” he continued and then regretted it for such a lousy excused.
“Ehhhh… Need to be walked?! It’s just a digi pet!” Ueda question doubtfully.
Kame sighed “Sometime it needs to be recharged with solar energy. I just don’t have time lately. Since Yuya came few days ago, I just let him take charge of it for few days” Kame lied confidently. “Ueda, few of Yuya stuff are still in the room. Hope you don’t mind.”
Ueda shook his head and smiles “It’s okay Kame. We troubled you enough.”
Kame took out the futon and passed it to Koki while Ueda settled in Nino’s room. Luckily the room was so neat and well organized. Except for the few items on the dressing table, it seen as if no one ever sleep in the room.
Then after they settled everything, the three of them stayed at the balcony for awhile, having the pizza and beer. Kame reminded himself to bring some food for Nino later. Then as it reached midnight, Kame excused himself and his guests took the cue.
He hurriedly went into the wardrobe and looked for Nino “Senpai, the coast is clear” he whispered. Then he saw Nino slowly walked out form behind his jackets section.
“So, what’s next?” Nino smile deviously.
Kame sighed and explained “Ueda is sleeping your room while Koki is outside. Both of them stepped out of the room. Kame went over to his CD player and put some music on just to make sure their conversation would not be heard from outside. He sat on the bed and gesture for Nino to have a sit as well.
Nino sat next to Kame, but he allowed some distance between them knowing Kame was nervous with the sudden situation.
Then Kame turned to Nino “I have only 1 futon and I gave it to Koki already. I guess we have to share the bed” Kame spoke softly almost in whisper. He looked away and Nino could see the slight blush on the younger boy face.
“Will you be sleeping naked tonight?” Nino further teased.
“Of course not” Kame felt himself blushed from head to toe.
Nino smile and continued casually “So I’m your digi pet huh?”
“Oh… That! Sorry, it was spur of the moment thing” he explained sheepishly. “Nino senpai, lets go to sleep” Kame smiles.
Nino looked at Kame trying to figure out whether Kame was flirting or not. Then suddenly Kame’s phone rang. He hurriedly stood up and answered “Ahh Jun senpai”
Nino pretended not to be bothered and settled in the right side of the bed. The truth is, he was eavesdropping.
“Yeah, a bit tired and ready to sleep already” he answered. “Yup, everything packed already. The bus going to pick me up from here.”
Kame sat on his side of the bed and continued “Don’t mention it. You have been a great help the other night.” Then Kame realized Nino might be waiting for him to end the conversation "Ne Jun senpai, I'm a bit tired today. Would you mind if we continue our conversation tomorrow? Thanks. Goodnight to you" Kame hung up and placed it on the bedside table. Then he opened the bedside light and went to closed the main light.
With the dimmed light on, Nino could see that Kame was very nervous. Then he settled into his side of the bed. Nino could heard Kame deeply sighed next to him.
Both Nino and Kame lied awake staring at the ceiling. Kame shifted nervously wondering how he was he supposed to fall asleep in such an awkward situation.
"Do you like Jun?" Nino asked almost in whisper.
Kame was surprise with the unexpected question. He took awhile "He's a nice guy. But I hardly know him. Its a bit too early to tell" he answered diplomatically.
Nino tugged his blanket and sighed heavily. Then unexpectedly Kame continued "He's such a great flirt. Sometimes I'm not sure whether he meant it or just fooling around. Do you know that he kissed me today?"
Nino was trying his best to maintain a straight face "So how was it?" he asked referring to the kiss.
"It was nothing. Just a peck on the cheek but still... besides, it was just for the gift I gave him as a token of appreciation for his help the other night" Kame explained.
"Then, is there any reason for my gift as well?" Nino shifted nearer to Kame.
Kame was clearly nervous but tried his best not to move "To thank you for being such a great neighbor. I would feel so lonely without you since this is the first time i move away from my family" Kame answered sheepishly.
Then Nino replied with the same tone of husky voice he used earlier "Kame-chan, earlier before Koki and Ueda interrupted, I was about to thank you for the wristband with a kiss as well" Nino explained softly. He paused for awhile admiring Kame beautiful lips "Can I continue with it?" Nino asked cautiously looking straight at Kame.
Kame stood motionless staring at the ceiling for a moment. Then after what felt like forever, Kame faintly nodded.
Nino pulled Kame to his side and gingerly kiss his cheek "That was what I want to do earlier" he whispered at Kame's ear making the younger guy shivered all over. "But, this is what I want to do now" he moved closer and licked Kame's lips and finally secure it with a deep kiss.
