I'm so stressful I'm losing my internal calmness
Cant even cry, even if I want to~
So here's my story.
A little Background ~
I've been working with a pharmaceutical line for almost 5 years.
The company I'm working with is an established, public listed company with main business in Chemical Industry, Fertilizers and Pharmaceutical. Under it Pharmaceutical Division, they have 3 subsidiaries which I'm currently in their R&D Team, specifically on Patent/Legal and Pipeline product (new product to be developed).
Added Notes~
Before I join the R&D team, I was attached with their Market Development department doing market research. It was fun and exciting as I learnt new things. But after awhile working with figures, I got bored and missed the science. So they transferred me to R&D and I've been happy ever since (exaggerating a bit here)...
The Problem arises when~
Under my current job scope, I did lots of information analysis aside from patent reading. Thanks to my ability to source information and my experience doing market research, the Business Development wanted me to be working with them. I'm honored by the opportunity and their acknowledgement on my ability. Unfortunately they dont really give me choice whether to take the post or not. Worse, I'm actually supposed to continue what I'm doing currently and at the same time reporting to a new department from a different subsidiary, doing something completely different from my current job~
Now Lets see the PRO and CON
Pro
- It's a great opportunity for career expansion.
- Working with big shot / decision maker - For the past weeks I have been working with Directors, COO and HOD. I even sat in one of their Board Meeting. The chances of a mere Sr Exec to get such opportunity is almost 0%.
- To be involved in Financial base projects - I learn new interesting stuff on comapny acquisition, business shares, domestic & regional expansion.
- Working with the Divisional Director who I have been idolize (professional wise) - Okay, I'm giving this the higest merit...LOL. He's amazing!!! I could not find enough adjectives to describe him. But of course he's old and MARRIED...*wink*... Went to his 3mil apartment last weekend for whole day work session. WORK SESSION (mind you)... Again, chances of a mere Sr Exec like me to get such opportunity is almost 0%. (^_^)
Con
- I'm having 2 job scopes, reporting to 3 bosses, 2 departments and 2 subsidiaries.
- I have 3 work stations with 26km (current/Office A), 35km (office B) and 46km(office C). Last week, Last Monday I was in office A, Tue & Wed in office B, Thur & Fri in office C. Can you imagine my stressful day. By the time I reached home, I'm too drained out.
- Since this is not an offer/promotion, my salary doesn't change and there is no re-designation as well.
- I'm staying in late and even have to work on WEEKENDs.
- With all of this, I still have to attend my Master Class as well
I'm really stressful over this. Have spoken to my direct boss but nothing much can be done because this is the directive from management. I have spoken to HR but their answer was so vague I almost lost my sanity. Because of all the travelling and added stress I've been coming late to office and it's been recorded as well. Just hate it that they record late coming but never notice the time I stay in to finish up jobs and such...sigh...
I'm sooooooo looking for a new job...
