Part 1 :
Here Part 2 ~
The air was chilly but it didn’t affect the young sensei at all. Contrarily Kame was feeling rather hot inside, feeling nervous being scrutinized by the piercing eyes of the good looking stranger supposed to be his student’s father. His hand was still securely gripped by Akanishi-san when he nervously wiggled it free to brush his strand of hairs threatening to cover his eyes.
At the moment the warm feeling left his hand, Kame slowly peeked at the taller guy and saw a hint of smirk crafted on the beautiful lips “Have we met before? You look very familiar” the deep clear voice asked him.
“I don’t think so. I’m still new here” Kame replied with a warm smile even though his heart was beating ridiculously fast. ‘What’s wrong with me?’ he wondered silently trying to calm himself.
Jin nodded with a softer smile “Sorry, I didn’t mean to sound so suspicious. It just that, I rarely forget a face. I felt as if we have met before.”
“I guess because I have such a common look, you must have mistaken me for someone else” Kame laughed anxiously.
The earlier smirk grew prominently as Jin Akanishi shook his head “I can think lots of adjectives to describe you but I assure you common is not one of it.”
Kame blinked few time trying to find an appropriate reply to such bold statement. But he was tongue tied. Fortunately for him Reika came to the rescue “Papa, stop teasing Kamenashi sensei.”
Such innocent statement followed by merry laughter from the father, revealing pearly whites behind the strong jaw. He playfully teased the little girl’s hair “We better make our move then. Thanks again for today” he bowed respectfully to the other as he pushed the girl gingerly to the bench, signaling her to start packing.
Kame replied with a soft nod trying to hide the twinkle in his eyes and the pink shades creeping on his cheeks as he quickly helped the little girl.

“I’m really sorry for today dear” Jin spoke as soon as he securely strapped his beloved daughter’s seat belt.
Instead of reassuring him with words, the blessed soul reached out her small hands and squeezed his.
Jin smiled sweetly before returning to the road ahead; carefully accelerates through the empty road. “Let’s have some lunch first” he announced cheerfully.
“But I’ve already taken mine” Reika replied as she held a small paper bag towards her father “And this is yours.”
Jin looked at her with a questioning arched brow “What’s that?”
“Chicken and cheese sandwich. Sensei bought it for you” she replied cheerfully before placing the small paper bag on her laps again.
“He bought it for me?” Jin repeated the statement in such a surprise tone.
“Well, sensei was saying that you might rush from office straight to fetch me without taking your lunch first and may need to rush back to office. So he thought the sandwich may save us some time” Reika explained earnestly to her father.
Jin felt his surprise expression soften slowly replaced with a genuine smile, crept on his thin lips “How thoughtful of him.”
“He is great isn’t he” Reika exclaimed excitedly unaware of her father unusual happy mood.
The smug looking guy nodded “And he’s right as well. I do have to bring you to the office.”
***************
“Jin this is a really important. We need to close the deal and you are the best we have. Their company has done all the arrangement for our trip this weekend” the young senior executive clad in an expensive suit sitting in his office announced in such a concern tone.
“Ryo, it’s not that I don’t want to help, but” Jin replied but was cut by the guy.
“It’s not my decision Jin. It never was. The management decided on it while you excused yourself to pick up Reika just now. They even mentioned about the promotion if everything goes on smoothly” he explained clearly before ended it with a deep sighed.
Jin who was sitting behind his desk bit his lips uncertainly and turned around to the other corner of the room where Reika was diligently working on her homework. “Mariko is away and I have no one to look after Reika” Jin replied worriedly.
“How about your other family members? Your parent’s maybe?” Ryo suggested.
He heaved heavily before shaking his head adamantly “I have a complicated relationship with them. I can only rely on Mariko and Reio” he added quietly.
The other guy nodded thoughtfully before came up with another idea “How about Keiko from legal?”
“What about her?” Jin asked curiously at such randomness.
“Why don’t you ask her to help out? Everyone knows she have a crush on you and I bet she’ll be more than happy to help out” he smiled brightly, proud of his own so-call brilliant idea.
Jin was dumbfounded by the obnoxious suggestion “That is the most absurd suggestion ever.”
“Eh!? I thought it was brilliant” Ryo whined.
“I have no intention to fuel the office gossip further and definitely not to lead her to such idea” Jin replied as he stood up from his seat. “I’ll think of other better solution and will inform you tomorrow. Now please excuse me as I need to check on Reika’s homework” he added, signaling to his colleague to leave the office.
Ryo let out a frustrated sighed, making his way out “Don’t take too long. I need to inform the team.”
The other nodded softly before direct himself to the little girl “Is that your homework?”
Reika looked up from her drawing and smiled sweetly to her father “Yes.”
Jin settled on the leather sofa next to his daughter “Can see it?”
“Of course” she exclaimed eagerly, folding the paper into two before handing him the half done drawing paper.
“Mother’s Day” Jin read the pink decorated card quietly, frowning deeply. But then, when he open it and saw the picture drawn by Reika, he could not hide his smile “Is that me in pink apron?”
The little girl squeal excitedly before threw herself at Jin for a hug “It is you Papa.”
He pulled her closer and patted her head. As he looked closely at the card, he saw another small figure at one corner “And this is?”
“Kamenashi sensei” she replied with a bright smile. “He’s very special too.”
“But Papa don’t want to share Reika with anyone” Jin teased her trying to hide his curiosity over how close was his daughter with the young sensei.
Reika shook her head with a small laugh “Of course not. I also don't want to share Papa with anyone. But when I was crying today, sensei was the one help me feeling better. So I really....”
Before the little girl could continue with her explanation Jin held her at arm length staring worriedly at her “You were crying? Was it because I was late to fetch you up? Or did anyone hurt you?”
Again, she shook head with a warm smile and softly explained “No Papa. I was sad because I don’t have a mother to draw for the homework.”
The innocent answer left a painful pang and guilt on him. He pulled Reika into a tight hug and whispered tenderly “I’m sorry Reika.”
In the tight embraced he felt Reika snuggled closer “It’s okay Papa. Kamenashi sensei explained that you are my mother and father.” She pulled herself slightly and looked straight into Jin’s eyes “He said, you have done so much playing two roles and I should definitely draw and give this card to you. I love you Papa”
“I love you more” Jin replied hoarsely, struggling to hold back the tears and making mental notes to thank the sweet sensei one of these days. “Come let’s go home. It’s really late already.”
“What are we having for dinner?” Reika asked as she packed her color pencil into her bag.
“Spaghetti” Jin replied as he himself clear up his desk. Then suddenly a thought came up “Ne Reika, how much do you like Kamenashi sensei?”
********************
After few months working at the prestige school, Kame already got used to standing at the entrance door watching over the children making their way into the school, greeting them with his cheerful ‘Good Morning’. But he’s still a bit nervous when once awhile parents came to greet him, worrying if he did not perform as expected.
So when he saw Reika and her good looking father walked hand in hand towards him that particular morning, Kame was overly nervous.
“Good morning Reika” he greeted the little girl with his warm smile.
“Morning sensei” she replied happily.
“Aren’t you going to greet me as well? We met yesterday, you know” Jin teased shamelessly.
Kame faked a cough and replied “Good Morning Akanishi-san”
“Good morning” he chirped lightly before adding “Would it be too much to ask if you could call me Jin instead” he queried with a dazzling twinkle in his mesmerizing eyes.
“Not at all” Kame gulped nervously, still could not figure out why he reacted that much towards the man standing in front of him.
“So should I call you Kame or Kazu?” he asked amusingly.
“Erm, Kame would be fine” he answered nervously and quickly diverted his eyes from the guy, to his daughter “Reika you better go in first. You’re on duty right?”
She nodded happily and turned to hug her father “See you later papa.”
“Be a good girl” he called looking straight at the corridor until her sight disappeared. “So, what time you finish working?”
Kame was taken aback by Jin’s question “Excuse me.”
Jin chuckled softly and replied “Reika and I are taking you out for lunch. Or would you prefer dinner? And, just to let you know that, I won’t take NO as an answer!”
Kame was still blinking at the statement when the school bell rang.
