(no subject)
Man, I slept good last night! I was exhausted. That Cedar Point trip took the wind outta me! Lol.
Matt, Don, Amy, Sarah, Brandon, Sarah, Sarah, and Aubrey picked me up 'round 5:45 am Monday and I drove since I had slept about 2 hours (more than they did). Of course I was an idiot and missed following 75 and took us into Detroit off 375. I lost Brandon, who was following me, then found him again. Finding 75 was easy, but getting on not so much since for some reason the cops blocked off the entrances. When I got on, I realized, it was 75 North... so I went up to Mack, and turned around, and lost Brandon again. After that the drive was easy breezy. We met everyone at Perkins then headed to the hotel, Sandcastle suites, then into the park.
Top Thrill Dragster was the first stop, and I was scared to death. Me and Aubrey were doing our best to not think about the fact that we had just witnessed a ride that didn't make it over the hump and back down. But once we got on it, it was a damn good time!
Next was Millenium Force, which was fuckin' sweet. Then the Mantis, which was also sweet, but it was kinda chilly by then, wierd. Then we ate lunch because we were all starving by then.
After lunch we hit the Raptor which felt like one long ass wait because someone puked so they had to clean it, plus everyone wanted to wait for the first row... by the time I got there I was like fuck it lets ride. I think we were all so tired cuz Amy, Aubrey, and I didn't even scream, we were just like.. whoo... yay... whoo...
Some people wanted to go to that new Max-Air after and I did not... a few of us waited by... and we shoulda gone on the Disaster Transport just to say we went on the worst ride ever... that was Don's mission anyways. We never went on it.
After that was the Magnum, which the lines are way shorter and it was good. Except the fact that your thighs dig into the bar or vice versa, that hurts.
Then the Gemini, which we pitted North and South Mission against Campus and Pickard subways and whoever lost was to buy drinks. We lost, but we never bought drinks.
I do think that after that, it was round 5 or 6... and no one wanted to be there anymore or go on anymore rides. We left and went to eat dinner at Chet and Matt's Pizza, which was frickin' good as hell.
Then we went to Meijer to get booze, where we found Ohio sucks more than we thought... wierd "half" liquors... fucked up.
A bunch of us chicks and Don went swimming when we got back then proceded to start drinking games. We started playing "I never" and Jeff decided to tell us that he knew all these rumors about everyone and went around the circle telling us. It was strange.
A good time over all :)
Good to see Matt and Don since it'll most likely be the last time I see Matt esp. but Don prolly too.
It's shower time for me, then off to Mervyn's to buy a new comforter and whatnot.
