Here We Go Again

Stretching before us a brand new year, and if we choose, a new beginning. For me it will be mostly business as usual, tending to, wishing, hoping and dreaming. These are things I do best.

Hope is for staying healthy; hope for some common sense to return to our Congressmen and women, which seems just wishful thinking.

Hope for my friends all remain healthy and as happy as can be; that they stick around near so we can have our great conversations and fun times, or the sad times, we have such a great conglomeration of people.

My neighbor was here this morning with my mail and as we were visiting over coffee, she wondered what we could this month to avoid cabin fever. The only clue I had is going to the “cabin” to avoid having “cabin fever”; it worked just before Christmas, but after the Christmas day storm we had, it is doubtful we will be heading out north for awhile. I called my neighbor about a mile for the cabin and asked if there was a lot of snow out there; she replied, tons and tons, their back yard was level full.

So, there is no way I will be going out, especially alone; if we can take two 4WD’s, which we often do, we could try it, and at least have some transportation if we did get stuck; with me losing my breath at the least exertion, I am best staying just where I am, and dreaming of all the good things coming. Maybe, if I put myselfe to the job, I can do what I came in the computer room to do, and here I am at the computer instead of doing the book work I need to do, filing papers and getting the books ready for 2010. I wonder how many times I will forget and do 2009? So far I have been okay, but I haven’t had to write it, today is bill paying day, too, so I will try and remember; that will be my song for today; Try to Remember; it was and is a beautiful song, a favorite of my partner and I, our anniversary was in September and I find myselfe singing it quite often.

Now, back to the first thing I need to do, book work: with this last line I wish my Live Journal Friends:

A HAPPY, HAPPY NEW YEAR
