Iron Man vid
The muse struck me again after (finally!) seeing both Iron Man films, and this was the result...
Bleeding Love: A Pepper/Tony Vid
I absolutely fell in love with Tony Stark and Pepper Potts in the films, so this had to be made :).

When the idea occurred for this vid, it was a total surprise to me. I've never been a huge fan of the song, despite Leona Lewis' arguable talent, but somehow, pairing it with Pepper Potts made it work for me! To my mind, Pepper is bleeding emotionally when she is with Tony -- and it shows in her face and her body language. Gwyneth Paltrow plays her brilliantly, and the chemistry between her and Robert Downey Jr. is fantastic. The longing looks that the two of them share, and her very real devastation when he behaves atrociously (and let's face it, he does that so well and so often!) are superbly played out. Put that together with such an emotional song and it seems to work.
Stylistically, I suppose I'm entering my 'acoustic' phase of vidding ;). By that I mean that I've toned down the transitions and effects and I've just tried to let the images and music tell the story. I hope it works for a viewer other than me!
