I adore you! Flirty-but-deeply-concerned Jack, jealous-but-composed Ianto... and Toshiko gets to go on an adventure instead of Owen or Gwen. Brilliant stuff, and your dialogue is spot on. PLease keep going, I can't wait for more.

Van Statten did not have a deep Southern accent. At all. Seriously, he sounds just barely a shade more Southern than me, and anyone who calls Maryland the South gets a punch in the arm from yours truly.

My apologies. I am English, British and therefore know little about regional dialects from the midwest- we all speak like Giles over here anyway. I shall admend accordingly. :)

No worries. I actually think I was unnecessarily mean in my comment, so thanks for being kind in yours. :) The only reason I have a chance of discerning between Manchester, Northern, and generic English accents is my watching Doctor Who and Life on Mars. >_> Who said you can't learn from television?

I've heard a few Brits refer to a generic American accent (like mine) as a drawl, and those who do should hear what a real Southern accent sounds like. XD Our asshat president has one, actually, if you want a not-so-thick example of one.

Wonderful as usual, and wouldn't you know it, Ten is up to a bit of devilry in the background. Hehe a character flaw, wait until he unleashes a few more of those on the unsuspecting Nine.

Nice setup for Van Statten and his small group and then dropping Bilis Manger into the plot...this should get even better!

Is Jack putting two and two together yet or is he still needing a few more clues?

Leave it to him to suggest group showering! LOL.

As much as I want a Doctor/Rose reunion, I'm a bit wary of how it's going to be accomplished, so am anxiously awaiting more :)
