Wow, Fayth, you have every reason to be proud of this chapter. I think it hit every note.
I was laughing at (not with) Sylar and Peter with poor, deluded Sam (I wonder if the name was to poke at a certain Sam Sullivan for being deluded? I like to think so).
Sylar, so sweet and creative (dark, sexy and scary). Talk about a cliff hanger, I want to see what he thinks about his reward ;)

So I laughed like a loon at Dungeon Boy. Death by toaster. And Draco the fax machine. And then Claire called Sylar for help in the middle of it - I loved the pacing of that. 'yeah, yeah, kid, enough exposition, I'm busy here...'

I lovelovelove the superhero shout-outs.

And then. Awesome scary hero time.

“If it can't be bought, bought off, reasoned or negotiated with. We'll try scaring it into submission. If that doesn't work, I'll kill it.”

Claire pulled back quickly and looked at him, her doe eyes wide and wet, looking every bit as adorable as a baby deer.

Sylar gave her a half-hearted smile. “Except killing is bad. Maiming. I could maim it?”

He is an awesome scary hero, the kind of villain you just want to have in your corner (hmm like Sheldor)or in bed, against he door really we're not fussy.

(I think this Sylar would get on very well with one of my new characters. He tends to go right past negotiation and straight to the intimidation. And the maiming option. A quasi-demonic entity unwillingly bound into human form can get a bit cranky that way..)

I loved the Watcher's Council and every other reference to things I like. And the whole thing was entertaining/perfect.

Sylar is sooo cool.

I follow this story over at fanfiction and just love the Sylaire interaction in this chapter. Wedding planning together was fun but it didn't bring out the Sylar I love. Great Job! Please update soon!
