Streetlight Manifesto Concert
Man... I got back from it a few hours and boy am I still a bit pumped from it. XD
Pretty amazing guys those Streetlight~ Ska a powerful thing, I discovered. << The place wasn't packed but it was a bigger turnout then anyone expected and the whole crowd was going just for them. There were four starter bands, honestly I only liked one; the only one that was truly Ska.
Let me tell you I saw some pretty quirky guys before Streetlight who WEREN'T Ska. I give them props for having so much enthusiasm, they had their moments with the crowd but honestly they weren't that great musically. They were better MCs then anything and even that's stretching it a bit. XD One did something I've never seen before; called a guitarist from the crowd and let them play with them onstage for a song. This was a completely person too, so crazy. x-X; The guy was pretty darn good, actually (they should've asked him to join). <<
So yeah... I am definitely going to go see Streelight Manifesto again if they pop by town and I highly recommend everyone else does too~ Ska's such a fun genre and it was so refreshing being at a live where the crowd was right up there with the energy the band was giving out. I've never been to a show where just about everyone in the crowd was singing the lyrics to EVERY song and not only that but evening stealing the show from the band a bit when they were getting a bit hoarse. XD
Basically; awesome energy + great music = GOLD~
