I QUIT!
i quit my job yesterday. i am a little freaked out by it, but it needed to be done. i hired a new sous chef who turned out to have no respect for me, my abilities or my position. we got into an argument and he said he didn't want towork for me anymore. fine with me. well then he went and appealed to the gm of our rest. she said that she was going to rehire him over my objections, so i quit. i will not be forced to work with someone who doesn't respect my postition and that's all there is to it. i went out today to look for a new job. i am going to try to get back outside for the summer. i got a couple of possibilities. the one which would be the coolest is the orchards golf course....they are hosting the us women's open this summer. that would look good on my resume.
