Right so I was browsing through my flist like I usually do and I occasionally read comments to other people's posts. Today's post of the day was by sev1970. She was talking about how everyone's entitled to their own opinions about what what will happen to the HP charries in the last book.

Now, when the news of DH came out I didn't comment on the tweaking going on in fandom, but well, now I'm going to. Just because a character dies(for example look at Sirius. He died and he's still being written shagging anything that moves) does not mean a ship will sink. And just because a book series/movie/etc ends does not mean the fandom shall implode and die. Buffy and Firefly are the best examples I have right now for shows that have ended and have been ended for a while and still have very active fandoms, maybe even more so than before they ended.

I might have more angry rantiness to add to this, but I think I made my opinion perfectly clear.
