Am I the only one who couldn't take that episode at all seriously because they spent the entire time going WHERE IS MORDRED? IF HE WERE HERE THIS WOULD BE DONE AND OVER BY NOW.

But that episode's plot hinged on the fact that Camelot's newest knight is...not doing his job.
(Although Arthur listening to Merlin every time he opened his mouth will never not be unappreciated.)
Unrelated, can Gaius just die or retire? Frankly I'll take retirement if it meant he stopped influencing Merlin's every action.
