Hope Springs Eternal
♥ Tonight I had an interview for a nanny position. The poor mom was so incredibly stressed out, and it showed. She's got three little girls who are 3, 5, and 7 and they were running absolutely crazy tonight.
I'm trying not to be overly optimistic because the let down from not getting this job would be awful. These girls, while super duper hyper in an OMG WHY way, were also incredibly sweet and snuggly once tired. I ended up buried in little girls by the end of the night, and then covered in baby kisses when I left.
I also hopefully impressed the mother by saying I'd make sure the house gets tidied up and stays that way, as well as never having crashed my car so I won't hurt her babies. She's very into scheduling, which is fine by me since younger kids thrive in well scheduled environments so long as it's not suffocating them.
It pays about $400 a week, which is great, and I left feeling a bit tired, but not overly so, and since it was 7pm when I went to see them, I'm really hopeful that I will never feel as tired as I do at the job I have now.
Getting my hopes up anyway. Kids are the best reference you can have for that sort of job.
♥ Signed up for a gym membership this morning at Planet Fitness. I've wanted to join a gym for ages, but I've been scared to. Now I no longer give a shit, I just want to get in shape. My mother also rejoined Weight Watchers this morning, so combined hopefully will result in something positive. I've been dying to eat healthy again for ages now, but there's never anything healthy in the house. Now there will be. Marvelous.

♥ Speaking of paperlegends, I've written 4,000 more words of it today, and I'm not done writing yet. :D Hopefully my beta is still on board as I've only got another week left before this thing is due. Hold me. I haven't been in a writing mood in months, so this? This is lovely. I've missed writing. I would hug it if I could.
