You know what I realized that I haven't done in ages?
Weekly Ten! \o/
1. Finals started this morning. I've already had two, and they were the hard ones, so here's hoping I don't have to eat a hat or anything now because I said that.
2. I got my new laptop last Thursday and oh is it shiny! :D It runs so fast, I'm almost afraid to add more files, etc to it on the off chance it slows way down. It cost me my savings account. Woo.
3. And now that I've admitted to not having much of a bank account, my MP3 player died. And I don't think it's coming back any time soon either.
4. I haven't stopped working since last Sunday. Yes, two-three hours a day is not awful, but you do that every day, plus school, plus an eight hour Saturday, plus finals...My paycheck will be lovely and wonderful though.
5. I've been getting pressies from work all week too. Everyone seems to think we need sugar and clementines to study. I love clementines, so this is a sweet deal for me.
6. My school had a moment last night where it was considerably cooler than yours so there. We somehow got a hold of a copy of The Dark Knight two weeks ago, and they projected it up onto the wall of our dining commons and fed us well past many of our bedtimes.
7. I got my KSC History Club sweatshirt, well, I've had it for about three weeks now, but that's hardly the point. I've got it. It's warm. Getting it involved getting lost down backstreets, but I've got it. So there.
8. The original fic bug bit me in the arse Sunday, but I haven't tried to write it yet. Luckily I wrote down to three separate people what was going through my mind.
9. Merlin may be my new fandom, but I still keep writing HP. This isn't news. What is news is the fact that I am seemingly stuck with my NaNo again. It's really frustrating. I want so badly to finish this fic. I just...open it and then close out two minutes later without writing a single word down. Why am I doing that?
10. I GOT ACCEPTED AT ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE. I cried. I'm such a doofus. Then I cried again last night when I realized I can never really afford it. I might not even be able to pay for the first semester there. I wish I could tell my brain to STFU because when there's a will there's a way. Well, I've got a will, I'm just not seeing the way.
I have started looking at their classes though and trying to vaguely map out what I'd like to take next semester if possible. I'm not sure if there'll be a point yet though. I have to wait for that first check to show up. Worse comes to worse, I'm coming back to Keene next semester to no job and no classes I really ought to be taking.
