My back went out again back in November. It did this back in May and I was in physical therapy for a while where I was living at the time. It wasn't a disc or anything, just major back spasms--a result of not working enough to strengthen and tighten my core muscles and back after having my baby. I was also told that stress could have made it worse (and those of you who know my situation know I'm under a great deal of stress!).
Anyway, I had the spasms again so started physical therapy again. The first 15 minutes of every session I get what's called a hydrotherapy massage. Now if you have never had one of these, it's the greatest!!! You stretch out on a long table (about the width of your body). It looks kinda like a table with a built in water bed. Then, these super powerful rotating jets of hot water go over your back. It is so relaxing and really gets out those knots. I sooooooooooooooooo need one of these at home! Maybe I should put it on my wish list!
