The Neighborhood
I walked for 45 minutes today and only saw 2 other houses with Halloween decorations. How disappointing. One yard did have a cemetery and a maze and lots of skulls and distressed headstones.
I have noticed that each year fewer and fewer people on this block decorate. I even heard the little girl upstairs grousing about our decorations touching 'her' porch.
She used to be friendly and sweet. I swear her parent's have taught her to hate us. She never even says hello to us anymore. She used to run down the stairs whenever I was doing hula hoops or playing guitar or doing art projects. I've always been super nice to her so I can only guess it's coming from her parents.
