Wow. It does exist. You should hang out on LJ more. It's better than Xanga :-P

But Xanga's method of replying makes no sense. You end up with this disconnected chatter over multiple journals that is virtually impossible to follow if it gets to any length. Meanwhile, LJ has the lovely little forum system where replies go directly under what they're referring to. Makes sense, see? Also, LJ doesn't cause your whole computer system to slow down from the obnoxious levels of toxic poorly-designed skins. And people on LJ actually seem to think about what they post rather than just posting "shout outs" to random people.

The reason LJ has occasional drama is because the posts have meaning. Something Xanga severely lacks.

oh yeah, and LJ doesn't bombard you with ads.

Lj may not bombard you with ads but i get sick of those emails from LJ saying someone has replyed, im positive someone can see that by logging on. Second off, get a better computer... my computer does not slow down when i get on Xanga, infact i can go online with WC and interact with people and switch screens back to Xanga,to switch songs mind you, and not lag once. Lastly some of those random shout outs arnt so random, many of those are conversations or inside jokes, but if you let people comment on your name youd understand ^.^ thats all i have to say, i refuse to stay on LJ

You can turn off the email feature in your user preferences (the same page where you type in your bio and interests, it's toward the bottom). Xanga has the exact same feature, too. LJ's prolly defaults to on, Xanga's to off, I don't know because as soon as I sign up for something I customize all the prefs. And I like the emailing feature (which is why I have it on for both LJ and Xanga); it's helpful in two semi-common circumstance: A) It lets me know when someone replies to a comment I left on a friend's entry (which sometimes is either at the bottom or off of your friends' page where you wouldn't notice it otherwise), and B) It lets me know when someone replies to one of my old entries (which you also wouldn't notice otherwise). And on Xanga it even lets me know if someone "subscribes" to me.

And I just got a better computer. But it's a bunch of non-standard web code anyway, that usually looks like crap because people seem to be obsessed with having an overload of animated things.

Actually, your site works fine on my comp, although the background doesn't seem to load half the time (which tends to be a good thing, since I can't read the text over it anyway).

And that friggin' retarded music player annoys me to no end, because it plays streaming media (in windows media format, no less) at really lllooowww quality. I'm sorry, but anybody can download WinAmp or iTunes and play back much higher quality streaming media from internet radio stations. Or, better yet, mp3s. I've never seen a point to that music player (except maybe to showcase songs you like, in which case I think the "current music" section works just fine...)

your argument would probably have more effect if some of those words made sence to me but since they dont im just going to ignore them and go on saying that Xanga is so much then LJ and leave it like that ^.^
