Layouts and... politics?

So. LiveJournal layout: I've been using the S2 style system - specifically, the Smooth Sailing theme option. One thing that has been constantly bugging me about it is that there is a dash between the date and the header title, which is most unsightly. But, hallelujah, I've figured out how to get rid of it! (At least, it works in the latest IE and Mozilla Firefox browsers.)

Thank goodness. See? Look up there again. No dash!

Anyways. I was reading Newsweek earlier today, and noticed something relatively humorous. In an article called "How Green Is Your Candidate?", under the column asking "How green is s/he?", the democrats seem to be doing extraordinarily well. You know, redoing the entire home for max energy efficiency (Clinton), having his campaign lease flex-fuel vehicles that runs on a gas or ethanol blend (Obama), running a "carbon neutral" campaign and using solar panels to heat water (Edwards)... versus the republicans, who seem to be lagging a bit behind. Of the three candidates, one campaign declined to answer (Giuliani), the other is using solar panels in their cabin home and reintroducing certain native plants (McCain), and the last is using energy efficient bulbs and mugs instead of disposable coffee cups, in addition to recycling (Romney). Which party seems to be more environmentally friendly?
