Sorry for intruding -- I was bopping about randomly and saw the image, and I've had my hands full with two systems who had the exact same problems.
It sounds like to me -- and Spybot should confirm the diagnosis if do virtually nothing to actually remove it -- Vundo/Virtumonde. I tried manually removing it a few times, and it proved too resilient. Eventually I tried the instructions on this page, and VirtumundoBegone proved crucial to finally getting it off my system.
Unfortunately, if it is Vundo/Virtumonde, you may have several additional issues, more trojans/popup servers, all sorts of madness. Good luck in sorting it all out -- Spybot's a good starting point.
Thankyou! Oh...and now I'm starting ot get some other ones as well....one that says that my system performance is slowed by 47%, and that my internet connection speed is decreased by 39%.
Spybot, as previously mentioned, should get rid of it. If it can't/won't, you can at least eliminate the "Messenger Service" box from appearing by following these steps (or at least it's helped me in the past on another comp):
1. Start -> Run -> msconfig 2. click the services tab 3. find the service "messenger" 4. uncheck the box 5. Hit apply, OK and reboot (it'll ask you to reboot).
The last box is caused by Windows' internal messaging service that can be utilized by people who know your IP (or, probably in this case by using the local host IP). It's not crucial for any other messaging programs (i.e. AIM, MSN, Yahoo, etc) and it's usually a good idea to have that service stopped anyway unless you're on a network that takes advantage of it.
But hopefully Spybot will eliminate the problem. I would recommend waiting until after running it to do these steps to stop the box. Otherwise you won't really know if it's gone or not.
Thanks. Id id try the Spybot thing, and I ran scans and tried it and stuff, but it didn't get ridof it, so I'm going to try your way. That onely problem is, that msconfig doesn't run when I hit run...maybe it's in C, though...thanks!

Oh....nevermind... it did work, I was just tired, and it was underneath all the stuff I had up at the time. *smiles sheepishly* Thankyou very much for telling me about that. *bows*
