we do our best
but we are human in the end
we make mistakes
we bleed
the world is harsh
i've learn to accept the pain
i'm friends with it
it keeps me sane
if that makes any sense
you are all selfish
and i'm okay with it
and i miss some of you
well, certain you's
i'm always at war with no men
but why fight a one-sided war
a war that doesn't exsist to me
i will never fall down
i will never allow
myself to crumble again
in the eyes of many
because i am too strong
to fall down
i still care but
you don't
and i know you won't
and never could
enough to make it right again
because it's left
if that makes any sense
if i do something i'm not proud of
i am honest
i can not retract
and won't apologize
for who i am present tense
if that makes any sense
because no matter what
i walk out the door
with my dignity
