I think what happened was that Onew's father found out the truth but he also knew he was gonna get killed because they were after him so he transferred his powers to Kibum whom he saw one day (or might have had a connection with him) Oh don't tell me that Kibum is Onew's brother from another mother or something or I'm going go insane
