Updates...
So it's been a very long while since I've last updated. Lets see, the party was fun, a lot of people showed up and I believe everyone had a good time. Rebecca has officially left the country and is in mid-flight as I type.
I'm still getting my tattoo next month, as far as I know. I need to go in for a talk with the artist and finalize a few things. In the end, I think the design will remain similar to what it was when I orginally landed in the door. I was never really thrilled with a filler pattern for the trunk.
Last bit of news, I guess. I've seriously decided to apply to grad school, which won't be for 2 years as I need time to prep for the GRE and get my shit together and that just ain't happening in 3-4 months when all the apps are due. I like my job but it's not something I look forward to everyday. It's pretty much dead end, and not what I wanted to be doing when I left Simmons. I look back at all the jobs I've had, marketing both private and non-profit, photography both for myself and other companies and my TA experience and the one that I liked the most was teaching. I've done some teaching since then for HS and found it frustrating as they didn't quite grasp concepts or just weren't responsible enough. So I'm looking to do the college professor thing after graduate school.
So I guess thats it.
