Tis the Season
We had the family gathering on Sunday the 22nd. I made all the food. Ok, I lied... I only baked a ham. I had hubby slice it in small pieces and then served dinner rolls, sliced like buns. The rest of the food was finger stuff: cheese bites, chips and dip, a jello dish, veggies and relishes. etc. My sons and their wives came and we had a very nice time. There was laughing and enjoying each others company. My daughter couldn't arrive until later because she had a houseful of sickies. All her children have been sick with the puking crud, so they couldn't come for Christmas (their father stayed with them so my daughter could come, and she took the children's presents home with her).
We were also celebrating Griffen's birthday. He turned 15. Heaven help me, now we will be starting driving lesson. Anyway, Griffen received an "Alienware" gaming computer . The boy was so excited!! It was nice seeing him get something he really wanted!
As for me, I got a new desk and chair for my office. I have wanted a new desk for awhile, and hubby insisted it was time to get them. I am in love, and it looks great in my office. Yes, I like practical gifts.
