My friends are among the finest people on the planet. I am lucky to have them all as a part of my life and I cherish each relationship individually.
Sometimes, what I translate as "living in love" is actually meddling. I need to work on loving others within, and sharing that love, but not being overtly evangelical about it. After all, if everyone were just like me, what a boring place this crazy, mixed up, adventurous world would be.
What I describe as "living in love" might also be various forms of martyr behavior, and that's not healthy. Sometimes, the answer to "what would love do" might actually be, "love myself enough to stop." And every problem or imagined problem on this planet was not created just so I would never be bored. Some of them are within my power. Some of them are either not within my power or aren't mine to solve. Some of them can't be solved. Some of them don't need solving.
Just as it's ok for the wonderful people in my life to have different tastes in ice cream flavors, it's ok for them to have different tastes in people, activities, etc. I can get along with many wonderful people, even if they wouldn't necessarily get along with each other or enjoy the same things. They are wonderful people, and that's enough.
I wish for everyone happiness, however you personally define it. And fun, in whatever is fun to you. And freedom, even if it's the freedom to disagree. And ice cream, unless you don't like ice cream or can't eat it. I love you just the same.
No, there are no drugs involved here. This is just me, at least right now :-)
Kisses,
Kimberly
