Back on my feet. . . in more ways than one
It's amazing how empowering a little thing like calling in sick can be. It's just a tiny, insignificant way to make your own choices, regardless of what others expect of you. Somewhere deep inside my stuffy head, there's a proud child declaring to the world, "You're not the boss of me!"
So, I'll spend a little time writing, because I have said time, and take another nap--my second of the day. I may be at work tomorrow, but somehow it will feel like I'm there by choice.
That's right. I have the staffing call-out line and I'm not afraid to use it. Human? Oh, yeah I'm human. And I'm a real person with my own life, too. You better believe it. So just step off--you can't take me down unless I let you, fool.
