Church and state seperation taken to an extreme
I just saw something on the news, this memorial cross in the middle of the Mojave Desert on government property is under consideration to become a national monument, or something like that. But some people are freaking out about it. The controversy led some people to put a wooden box over it until a decision can be made.
Sheesh. I understand things like not wanting the 10 commandments in a statue on a government building, but for goodness sake, people! It's in the middle of frakking nowhere! Why should anyone care if it's a cross, when it's in the asscrack of nowhere?
