ysabetwordsmith is a professional pagan writer with at least one published book on magic, who also writes science fiction and fantasy. Especially awesome are her poems. Most people's poetry I can't read, either because it isn't engaging enough to get past my short attention span, or because they suck. But ysabetwordsmith's poetry blows my freaking mind. Once I actually tried reading it. I'll admit, for a long time I ignored it because I almost always ignore other people's poetry anymore since so little of it engages my attention, but "Sugar Sea"'s title caught my attention. It blew my mind! Now I'm reading all her poetry I can find.
She also posts a lot of news items and stuff like that, which often ends up in my potpourri posts.
