Fact time

The thing about Genesis is that it is specifically the story of the creation of the Hebrews by Yahweh, not of humanity as a whole. Other gods made other humans, hence the usage of the plural for god which was Elohim (Singular would have been Eloha.) as well as the presence of other people in the Land of Nod from whom Cain took a wife. So basically what that boils down to is that the rules of the Bible are only meant to apply to the Hebrew people - IE ancient and modern Jews and people with Jewish ancestry - and do not apply at all to people outside of the Jewish community. Which means the only people who have any real right/duty to the mythology of the bible are Jewish people. Thus, only former Jews and people with Jewish ancestry should be Christians or Muslims (or one of any number of other religions spawning from them).

This is reinforced by the fact that Jesus of Nazareth wasn't trying to found a new religion, he was trying to reform Judaism by replacing all the complicated Old Testament rules with the One Commandment of Love Thy Neighbor As Thyself. (A fact that means that even if you ignore the fact Christians and other related religions shouldn't even exist, over 90% of Christians are doing Christianity all wrong.)

Jesus also never intended to become a god in this creed, let alone the focus of the creed -- he was just the messenger. Christianity -- and Islam and others descended from those religions -- is the result of pagans of the time appropriating the culture of Judaism (which was at the time a closed religion meaning they did not seek or accept converts), applying their pagan habit of deifying important people to the man who was seen as the figurehead of this new movement, and syncretizing the result with Mithraism. Meaning that while Jesus intended his teachings to change Judaism for what he thought was the better, what actually ended up happening is that most of his own people completely ignored his teachings while a bunch of ignorant outsiders swooped in and changed his teachings into something completely alien. So I'm pretty sure he'd be absolutely horrified by all that. (Basically, cultural appropriation ruined the world.)

But back to my original point: The Bible was only ever intended to apply to Hebrews (the Jewish people) as Yahweh was their god and their god alone, outsiders were to have their own gods, and in fact there were already other humans about because the other gods had already been making their own people for a long time before Yahweh got around to making the Hebrews. And now thanks to thousands of years of cultural appropriation, most people including most Jewish people know none of that and have this utterly wrong idea that Yahweh created the whole world and the first humans ever, when anybody who reads the Bible as objectively as possible would see that for the BS it is. . . .
