This winter, remember that warm air rises (especially in cold air), and that the germy exhalations from your masked faces will travel up into the air and fly further than ever before in the winter air. Which you can mitigate by wrapping a scarf tight around your face to cut off the upward air flow when you exhale, or use costuming tape to attach your mask tighter to your face to seal off your spittle plume. The point is, be aware of your towering plume of infectious spittle and do your best to cut it off at the source.
