Fledgling

Reading "Fledgling" by Octavia Butler. It's amazing so far! Puts a whole new spin on vampires. The vampires of this novel are alive, not undead. They don't kill their donors, in fact they reward their donors with so much pleasure from being bitten that the donors become willing. They also take very good care of their donors, making them healthy and giving them rapid healing to hide the feeding. It's fascinating, a really good book.
