My roommate Amy and I are a bit opposite in many ways. She's outgoing, I'm not. She's an extrovert and I'm an introvert. When she's cold, I'm melting from the heat. (You'd think being homeless for a time would harden one up a little to cold, but apparently not.)
Oh, and things like monsters and other creepy things don't scare me at all - they fascinate me. I resonate with them. I identify with monsters and critters. "Welcome to Night Vale" is my favorite thing ever, followed closely by "American Horror Story." I have had times where, if I could, I would shape-shift into a large spider and spin a nest in a corner to sleep up there.
Whereas Amy couldn't watch the comedy movie "Dark Shadows" because ghosts scare her. To her, "Grimm" is almost too scary to watch. And the other day I slipped up and mentioned the Night Vale character The Faceless Old Woman Who Secretly Lives In Your Home, and the poor dear squealed and cowered in her corner.
I'm starting to think "A Christmas Carol" would scare her...
