Traipahni numbers again
I recently changed the 4 on the Traipahni numerals from a cross to an X because it looks better when handwritten. Now 1's and 4's close to one another will no longer bear so close a resemblance to the Traipahni character for the K sound. I also added a Traipahni version of a decimal point, which is not a period. I never liked the period as a decimal point, it's too small and easy to overlook, as well as the fact that it wastes time drawing a period big enough to be seen (just hitting the paper with the pen never works). Oh, and I have Traipahni versions of operators for plus, minus, multiply, divide, and equals. I also practiced writing the Traipahni numbers in order from 1 to 111, in the right-to-left notation Traipah uses. Got to the point where it was almost as natural as the normal way. Base 6 also makes more sense when using the Traipahni numerals than using Arabic numerals.
I'd put on here an updated image of the symbols, but that's on my home computer. But the new file has not only the symbols, but examples of math done in this system. It looks funky, but if you know the symbols, you can still do the math. I don't know what they'd use for things like pi, but I think I've gone far enough for now.
Unrelated to numbers, but related to Traipah, I've also decided that there's a system of underground trains connecting major cities on different continents, since the cities themselves are mostly underground anyway. Also, after crystalanium was introduced to them, they were able to connect the train systems of many of the continents together by making tunnels under the ocean's surface.
