Eclipse and other happenings!
So I'm going to be missing the Eclipse opening day cause for some reason, they decided to release it on a Wednesday :*( And I can't go off-base Mon-Thurs. But not to fear. I will hopefully get to watch that movie this weekend. The trailers have me excited!
Ah, what else is new around here. I have been reading up on some of my books, trying to finish so I can give myself an excuse to buy more. "Alice I have Been" has been rather good and I look forward to finishing it soon. I refuse to start collecting The Looking Glass Wars until I have finished. I would rather not start to stockpile books and end up not reading them. It was an awful habit I developed a couple years ago, which eventually led to my decline of reading books.
I visited the Thrift Store here on base a couple days ago. They were quite small. In fact, probably the 2nd smallest thrift store I'd ever been in. But their prices were damn good :D For $2.50, I got 2 pillows and a much needed Shower Curtain! Plus I got a little basket with strawberries on it. For holding receipts and other things like that.
O the looks I got carrying the pillows back on top of my little basket on my bike :D
Studied like crazy this weekend too. I put in nearly 10 hours at the school just studying math and other little things like that. And I still don't fully know it all XD Hopefully I can really develop a system that'll maximize my memorization. Don't think I'd want to keep putting in 10 hours a weekend just to stay up >.> <.<
!!! Also finally bought a MUCH NEEDED external hard drive. OMG the difference it made. My laptop is so much faster now-a-days. Also bought some shower gel. I presume it can be used as a body wash? Idk but the bottle looked cute and so I picked it up.
O damn! I forgot the most important thing! DHL is being a total dick about my package. They totally stopped it at customs and now want me to fill out these forms and stuff.... ERG its annoying. Have to fill out some shoe thing asking about the shoes my friend and I ordered. And asking about the dresses we ordered. And asking what gender the clothes are. And other annoying questions. Erg. Hopefully I can fully resolve it tomorrow.
O well, guess thats it for tonight. Test tomorrow!
