Alright, I have been planning for a while to get some sort of fur meet to happen in Belgium, and well, I finally have some ideas, even if they are not normally what you would see for a fur meet.

The location I am planning on would be Rochefort, Belgium (French-speaking).  Mostly because of the beauty of the region and some possibly very interesting ( Read more... )

so, have you already spotted a campground ?
Well, it seems that you have already thought of many stuffs so I don't have much more ideas.
Just, where do we sign ?
How can I help you ?

I already do have a campground picked out, it's 14 Euro for the plot, plus 4 Euro per person and 5 Euro for additional tents. It's close to the city center, but far enough away to be peaceful and it's on the river.

The biggest problem I will end up having is getting ahold of the tourism board to ask permission, but that is to be seen. If I get enough interested furs, I'll have to get the infomation spread around on various forums, but I don't want to do that until I get some more info.

why do you need a special permission ? What do you fear ?
Not that asking before is bad but I don't see exactly what you'll ask them.

The tourism office runs the caves. You have to buy tickets beforehand, and it is very possible that they don't want fursuiters in the caves for various reasons.

However, the caves are lite up with paths and such. That's why I am picking this location. It's not just a random cave. :P

Well, unfortunately a little too far away from me. Although the beer sounds tempting.;)
Camping is cool, I haven't done it anymore since I left the army. I would really like to do it again and such a combined meet plus camping somewhere sounds neat. It is a pretty good idea.

Drat...my parents are visiting in late September. That's probably going to kill my chances to go due to extra money spendage while they are here.

I wonder how cheap it would have been to fly there, though.
