i've met one or two asian girls like this.
not so much in white girls.
black women are like this when they are old.

Evangelion. I saw the first few episodes. My friend told me the ending didn't make sense or was depressing or something along those lines.

The subject title is from an anime called "Chobits" I admit it's a chick flick, but it's only one season long and is quite... damn I can't think of any other word than "cute". Anyways, the series is much like your search for this best friend/lover.
