i love 90's rock. really.
i'm listening to pearl jam, yellow ledbetter right now (thanks heewa), and every time that song starts i HAVE TO stop and listen.
maybe 90's rock wasn't the most skillfully played, or most innovative, or most indy, or most anything really... but the feeling and the mood captured in the music is top notch. how can you not imagine a big smokey, hazey arena, filled with long haired children of the hippy generation, with no sense of fashion, barely clean, puffin' the ganj' and just bein' mad chill - letting those soul notes of the electric guitar take them away from the world of drama and aids and war and bullshit.
