Rodney came through the door feeling rotten as was the norm for him. He rolled his eyes at John who was sitting sideways on the couch with the laptop on the coffee table, watching the same movie he’d watched for the past month and a half, ever since Rodney introduced him to it.
“You’re watching this again?” Rodney asked as he plopped down on the couch between John’s legs. John wrapped his arms around Rodney’s shoulders and kissed him behind the ear.
“It’s a good movie,” he told him.
“Yes, but it eventually becomes less good the more times you watch it. And you never wait for me! You know what time I usually get home from the labs, and look, Dr. Horrible is already singing Brand New Day. That’s the end.
John laughs and pulls Rodney tight against his chest. “I know, but I only do it because I like seeing this reaction from you,” he says and leans over to restart the movie.
Ahh hahahahahaha! Aha haha haaahaaaaaa! So that’s, you know, coming along.
