What is the most important value you will pass on to your child?

That question presupposes that the one answering will become a parent at all. At the present time, I have no plans in that regard.

However, in theory...

Had I been asked this before my temporary death, I would have said I would raise the child to follow in my footsteps, and carry on when I'm gone. I can no longer, in good conscience, give that answer. It would mean condemning my child to the afterlife I'm afraid I'll return to, when my death finally comes for the final time.

So if I were to father a child, now, I would most likely leave it with its mother, or should that be impossible for any reason, give it to others to raise, who would do a better job than I could.
