Would you live forever, if you had the choice?
A difficult question, but in the end, I would say that yes, I would. I have few true friends or family, who it would cause me pain to watch die, and my associates tend to come and go with some regularity in any case. As to the matter of boredom, I do not believe it will be a problem. There will always be new people to deal with, always be new deals to be struck.
And, when all is said and done, I know what waits for me when I die. I have already seen it, after all. Better to watch all those I care for die, or even to risk the boredom, than knowingly return to the cold and the dark.
