What is good and what is evil?
I have only once encountered what most people would term "evil", and in my experience, it comes in the form of absolute unscrupulousness. Of course, by those terms, some would consider me evil, but I prefer to think of myself as... amoral. I do not act on a whim, and I do not have the power to accomplish any great evil with a thought.
I have only once in my long life been truly scared, facing a being that had destroyed an entire civilisation, down to the last child, simply because the leaders had laughed at its insane plans. That is what I would term true evil.
But then, unscrupulousness can also be turned to the service of "good", in certain circumstances. So perhaps they are two sides of the same coin. I tend to consider selflessness the highest form of true good, however.
You will note that I have never described myself as a good man.
