Bandwagon blah blah blah relationships meme comment for evilulz. I'll do one for Jojo later this week methinks.
ALSO DISCLAIMER. Some of these may surprise you. Saul categorizes people, um, differently.
Positive:
Yachiru: He'd like to think that it's only by the Animus' will that he's attached to her, but Saul does find himself genuinely liking the Pink Terror. She reminds him of himself as a child just a little wee bit with the whole killing things ten times your size thing... he'd gladly teach her everything he knows. Well. Almost everything.
Carmen: ... oh boy. He likes her? He's confused by her? He admires her for every possible thing? He thinks she's completely out of line as a woman? He's spazzing like an infatuated fourteen years old? What the hell? Carmen is definitely the most important person to Saul in the city, and his mind is made up about taking their relationship further. But that doesn't mean he isn't at a complete loss here.
Kenpachi: Hell yeah, Saul's kind of man, even though he doesn't have much to go on. He's just waiting for a good chance to bash heads with him, and he likes to think that they'll both enjoy it. If it's a good fight, Kenpachi might make it into the list of people to destroy; in the meantime Saul just enjoys watching him.
Unohana: Difficult, difficult... Saul admires her, passionately, he thinks she's absolutely phenomenal. And so he wants her dead. He wants to break her until she can't ever mend again - but it's because she amazes him. Even when he resents her kindness, he doesn't hate her - what he plans to do to her is more a tribute than anything else. Oh god he's such a creep.
Zexion: A highly intriguing man, whom Saul knows better than to think he understands. He appreciates Zexion's practicality, his abilities and his general contribution to Team Evil, and is perfectly happy to help him or hold conversations with him, but he views them as coming from two essentially different worlds and thus doesn't consider him anything beyond an ally. Since he doesn't view him as a fighter, he also doesn't consider him a target.
Neutral:
Kanzeon: Her antics amuse him, probably because he has no real idea who and what she is and thinks she's real full of hot air. That's also why he doesn't really mind her having been in his head and is glad to carry on conversations. But he hasn't acknowledged her as a person yet.
Vincent: Saul knows very little about him, except having fought him one time, that he is more powerful than he usually seems. That's already a point of interest - he's on the list of possible challenges to look into.
Allelujah: On the one hand, a scary pervert (hey, this is Saul, not me); on the other hand, well-spoken, polite and not stupid. Saul isn't yet sure what to make of him, but he doesn't feel any particular animosity there.
Gojyo: Saul regards Gojyo the same way he regards any man who has enough strength to bother looking twice at: a target, someone to break, no more and no less. It's a completely impersonal emotion, moreso even since Gojyo tried to make it personal. He neither likes nor dislikes him, he'll just see him undone.
Londo: There's a vague sense of kinship there still, that isn't entirely going away, because Londo is another one of those very rare people who have spoken about their homes on the network and this buys him a lot of points in Saul's book. So there's interest there, of a personal sort even, that can be nurtured into a real meeting of minds. It remains to see if Saul would bother with that nurturing.
Ginia: Unfortunately for Ginia, she's a woman who tries to fight, which immediately earns Saul's contempt. She does sort of balance it out some since, as an important community figure, she makes a good target - and since he thought it was a great joke when she moth'ed him, so he gives her some credit. Under other circumstances, there might've been at least an amicable acquintance there, in a patronizing sort of way; now, she's mostly someone to hurt to get at other people. Although it remains to be seen how things would develop as she forms new ties.
Itachi: They've had little contact, and Saul only has vague memories of Itachi being in his head during the Dreamscape event, but then Itachi is just the sort of man Saul notices and judges quickly. He's seen such men before with their self-possession and their demons, and they made him some of his finer challenges. He doesn't know Itachi's power, and so hasn't yet decided if he's worth breaking, but given the opportunity he probably won't be able to resist it. He doesn't think of Itachi as a person at all, only as something that might be worth destroying.
Negative:
Goku: Saul didn't particularly acknoledge Goku as a person before their more recent fight. Now he's just slightly pissed that the monkey bonked him on the head and made him lose his cool. THERE WILL BE BLOOD mmkay. Which is rather more than Saul grants most of his targets.
Kurotsuchi: LOL WHAT A FREAK. Normally, Saul respects and likes scientists; but Mayuri happens to work with diseases, which is the one thing that will not fly with him. He's intensely distrustful of the man - much more than he lets on - and wishes he'd have a reason to kill him already without annoying Carmen. In person, he thinks he's a sensible, intelligent man, and if he just stuck to poisosn and dissection they'd get along just swell. But since the villains' event and Kurotsuchi's virus, Saul is just biding his time.
