14th step: Something in the air [video]
[The feed clicks on to show Saul standing under the torrential rain, soaking wet, staring at an empty patch of ground that is, recognizably, where his house used to stand. Surprisingly, he doesn't look distressed; rather, he's smiling to himself as he shifts strands of water-heavy golden hair out of his eyes, and his tone is honest not sarcastic.]
Lovely, isn't it? It's not often enough that I get such glorious weather without stirring it up for myself. Ah, well, if a man must find that he lost the roof over his head, he might at least try to enjoy it...
[Lightning flashes in the distance; Saul whirls round in its direction, stares deep into the rain for a moment, then shrugs to himself.]
Spirits of the land, spirits of the city... who am I to demand anything? Likely it's just a matter of time.
[He grins as he raises his gaze back to the dark skies, and the image clicks off.]
