123rd Devotion: Being Let Out, and Then Being Let Back In...

[The video feed clicks on with a blurry closeup of a cat's paw batting at it. Almost immediately, the audio fills with a pleased purr and it draws back to show a very fluffy and squishably huggable looking white house-cat. It's emerald colored eyes blink in surprise and the purring abruptly stops.

[His ears swivel forward and he gives a very happy purr.]

The Lab.

[The hospital would have been to evident in what he was doing, what with all their handicap accessible exits. At least this way he could get her away from the apartment, and away from Haji.]

Can you come get me?

Of course. I'm not that far away.

[She really isn't, since she's been wandering around looking for Haji for a bit.

So she heads over to the lab.]

I'm in my office on the top floorrr... I'll buzz you in when you get here.

[She's never been in the labs much, so it takes her a moment to find her way to the building. Here she pauses and pulls out her device again.]

I'm outside.

If you can buzz me in though, why can't you work the elevator buttons?

The buzzer is located on my desk. But I'm afrraid the elevator buttons are too farr up for me to easily reach.

[Easily explained without going into any lengthy explanation that he could indeed reach the buttons if he applied himself. A chevalier was useless if they couldn't be resourceful when needed. Still, everything he said was basically the truth.]

[Once she's buzzed in, Saya begins the trek upward.]

[After what seems like an eternity, Solomon's sensitive cat ears hear someone approaching. The leap off of the desk is awkward, but somehow he manages to land without embarrassing himself too badly. It's an adjustment to be certain.

With fluffy white tail raised confidently in the air, he trots over to stand near the door.]

[When she does finally find his door (after going down the wrong hallway a few times), she taps at it lightly.]

Solomon?

[A happy chirrup escapes his mouth and he reaches up with both paws to try to turn the doorknob. It's not locked, of course, but he thought it'd be polite to open it for her. and utterly fail -> damned not having opposable thumbs.}]

[This actually dawns on her after a moment and in the next, Saya is opening the door herself.

And then she pauses, blinking down at Solomon.]
