I... have sinned. Please, would you meet with me so that I might confess? Please... I wouldn't ask if this weren't extremely important. My immortal soul is in danger.

... A spiritual one? Uhm, aren't you going to need a confessional booth?

Well, yes. I can come to the Cathedral for that. I... it's been too long since I set foot there.

... How do you do a confessional?

Ahh... you don't know? I'm lost.

The priest listens to the penitant's confessions of their sins, and then provides penance based on the severity of the sins. At the end of the confession, the priest provides them with the sacramental forgiveness of the Church...

You are a real priest, aren't you Father?

W-well the Catholic church where I'm from works slightly differently. I'm a real Father, I've just never ... worked in a church before. Sadly, I don't really work in that department, I'm more of a ... traveling priest for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Oh, I see. Then... you can't provide me with absolution for my transgressions?

I didn't say that, but at the same time, are you ready to atone for them?

Yes... I think so. I mean... I need your counsel to find my way again.

The Church will always welcome new members with open arms, you shouldn't worry.

Well, I'm hardly a stranger, although I have strayed so far... I've been in the priesthood ever since I left home.

I can meet with you right away then?

... You haven't been caught, have you?

Caught? I'm afraid I don't understand...

... Oh dear, I think I might have opened my mouth too soon.
