No point in wasting any more time on this.

I quit.

My day off has given me time to go over where my life is heading, and I realized that I can't in good conscience continue in my various jobs when my heart just isn't in it anymore. This affects my position at the hospital, as well as the research and operation in the ( Read more... )

If we do not continue then we will never make what breakthroughs we may have made. Is that an end you would be willing to accept, knowing that you may never know the fruits of your labors?

Since it seems necessary under the circumstances, yes. However, should he happen to either return to senses or change his mind about this, I would be quite willing to let him return to his former position.

However I don't believe this will be a problem?
